County Sheriffs of Colorado scholarship due February 28

Materials relating to the County Sheriffs of Colorado scholarship program are now available on the website:  www.csoc.org  Students’ applications should be mailed to the Sheriff’s Office in the county of their permanent residence.

Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association Scholarship due May 1.

The RMWEA established the Bill Martin Memorial Scholarship, a $1000 scholarship for students from Colorado, Wyoming or New Mexico pursuing studies in the water environment profession (e.g. biology, environmental science, wastewater treatment, water pollution control, or environmental protection).  The application was mailed home on February 3; for another copy, please see Miss Lahtinen

Cibrowski Family Foundation Scholarship due April 20

Fremont/Custer Historical Society scholarship due April 1

One $500 scholarship is being offered by the society to a high school student who has been admitted to a degree-granting college/university, agrees to a college study including history, and submits a minimum 500 to 750 word essay with source references.  The essay should be about something of historical interest in Fremont or Custer County.  The application was mailed home on February 3; please see Miss Lahtinen for a copy.

Colorado Insurance and Business Education Foundation due April 1

The Colorado Insurance and Business Education Foundation is offering scholarships up to $5000 annually for students at an accredited college or university who are majoring in a business/finance related field such as accounting, actuarial science, finance, insurance, etc.  The application was mailed home on February 3.  For a copy, please see Miss Lahtinen.

Colorado Association of Career Colleges Scholarship

The Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools scholarship was created to encourage and assist qualified students to continue their education.  The scholarship association will award two scholarship for each year, $1000 each.  Applications must be received by February 11, 2011.  A copy of the application was mailed home on February 3.  For another copy, please see Miss Lahtinen.

Pikes Peak Section of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Scholarship due March 31.
